This specially textured evaporator mat captures airborne impurities and as the wheel rotates, the particles are released from the evaporator mat into the water. The rotating evaporator mat also releases moisture and provides a comfortable balance of humidification.
Cleaning in the washing machine: The evaporator mat can be cleaned in the washing machine (max. 40 °C / 104 °F). Commercially available detergents can be used. For best results wash the evaporator mat by itself.
Cleaning by hand: Add a little detergent to warm water and tumble the evaporator mat in it thoroughly to get detergent on all of it. Rinse out the evaporator mat repeatedly in clean, hand-warm water until suds no longer form.
Can be recycled or disposed of in household waste. Please check your local guidelines.
